By reserving, purchasing, or accepting delivery of a parrot from Darasil Al Babagha, you agree to the following terms.

1. Placement & Eligibility

Parrots are placed for private ownership unless otherwise agreed in writing. We reserve the right to assess experience, housing, and suitability at any stage — and to decline or cancel any placement not in the bird’s best interest. Certain species may require permits, proof of experience, or appropriate housing conditions.

2. Health & Condition at Delivery

All parrots are delivered alive, alert, and in good health, with veterinary documentation where applicable. The buyer must inspect the bird immediately upon delivery, with a 4-week veterinary check period permitted to confirm general health.

We are not responsible for any condition arising after handover due to environmental stress, improper handling, poor diet, neglect, or failure to follow care instructions.

3. Refund & Return Policy

Eligibility

• Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery only.
• The bird must be returned in its original condition — free from illness, injury, or distress.
• Proof of purchase is required.

Process

• Written notice with supporting evidence must be submitted within 14 days.
• Returns without prior approval will not be accepted.

Transport

• Return transport is the buyer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our verified error.
• Returns must use approved, insured, and trackable transport.
• We are not liable for loss, delay, or injury during return transit.

Refunds & Exchanges

• Returned birds are inspected upon arrival.
• Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
• Exchanges are subject to availability and approval.
• Where the return is due to our error, replacement delivery may be arranged at no additional cost.

4. Non-Returnable Items

The following are strictly non-returnable:

• Custom-sourced or rare parrots obtained at buyer request
• Special colour mutations or age-specific sourcing
• Accessories, cages, food, supplements, or consumables
• Service fees and documentation costs

5. Payments & Refunds

• Payment secures a specific identified parrot and removes it from availability. No parrot is reserved or released without cleared payment, confirmed with official documentation.
• Payments are fully refunded if cancelled within 1 week of payment, upon verified proof of a health defect not disclosed in the adoption contract, or if we are unable to deliver as agreed.

6. Owner Responsibilities

By accepting placement, the buyer commits to:

• Providing lifelong care including veterinary treatment, proper nutrition, enrichment, and humane housing
• Complying with all local and international laws and permit requirements
• Not reselling, abandoning, or rehoming the parrot without first contacting Darasil Al Babagha

Full responsibility transfers to the owner upon delivery.

7. Acceptance of Terms

Placing a reservation, submitting payment, or accepting delivery constitutes full acceptance of these Terms, Conditions, and Refund Policy.
